2020, you're out of here, effective Jan 1, 2021!

The year 2020 is rapidly disappearing, and almost everyone I know is glad! While I always hate to "wish my life away," this year has been full of trauma, and I'm looking forward to 2021 with high hopes!

In this time when people are isolated from friends and family, it's more important than ever to keep channels of communication open. One of those ways is by sharing creativity! That's where I hope you'll join me! Handcrafted items are a great way to show others you care and that you are thinking of them. People of all ages and levels of experience can join in and make items to share with love.

My theme for 2021 is related to that; I call it "lead with love!" To give my new year a little kick start, I sent out about 40 handcrafted cards using the Poinsettia Petals Bundle from Stampin' Up! I made four different designs and sent them out well ahead of the holidays. Several people have responded with cards of their own, or with expressions of delight about receiving my cards. A double blessing! I had fun making the cards, and I had fun hearing people's reactions!

I also made cards from the October 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit, called Joy to the World. The Paper Pumpkin subscription service is a great way for new crafters (or experienced) to make projects without investing in a lot of crafting supplies.

I'll be sharing process videos in 2021 to demonstrate how I make my cards and teach others how to make them, too. For now, though, I hope you'll enjoy a few photos of my finished cards.

Intimidated? Don't be! These have varying levels of complexity, but most are quite simple to make - even for a beginner. Join me in 2021 to learn how!

Thanks for visiting today! May God bless and keep you until we meet again!
