Making a Collar Card

If you're ready to step up your standard card with a simple cut and a couple of folds, then you're ready to make a collar card! Watch my new YouTube process video on how to make one of these simple cards.

NOTE: The YouTube video is showing the reverse side of the paper cut (a collarless card) as its splash page. Never fear; the reverse side has the collar in plain view!!!

For easy reference, here are the paper dimensions I used for my live sample:

Card base: 8.5” wide x 5.5” tall; scored in the middle at 4.25” and folded in half

Two-sided designer series paper (DSP): 4.25” wide x 5.5” tall

White with decorative (Ornate Borders) die: 3.0” wide x 5.25” tall

Focal point/greeting of your choice

Inside message: 4.0” wide x 5.25” tall

Remember that products from the 2020-2021 annual catalog are retiring on Monday, May 3! The new 2021-2022 annual catalog launches on Tuesday, May 4!

Be sure to check back on May 4 for a catalog walk-through, along with a quick look at some of the projects I've made from NEW products!! I’m so excited!!

Until then, may God bless!
