Wow! I had my hair done today, and when I was making my next six-week appointment, my hairdresser said, "Oh, that's Christmas week!" WHAT?!?!?!? After I calmed down from my momentary hysteria, I realized that November is skittering away very quickly, and I had yet to publish my monthly newsletter. My bad!
I've had a productive month, with a couple of new YouTube videos up and running. Now, in the grand scheme of things, only a couple of videos for the month doesn't sound like much - and I suppose it isn't - but I'll take it in the midst of apple season. We made our annual run to the orchard (27 miles away) just eight days ago, and we're into our third (and final) bushel of processing now.
In Bubba Gump fashion, it's going to be . . . cooked apples, applesauce, apple pie, apple crisp, fried apple pies, baked apples, apple butter, and so on and so forth. :-) In case you can't tell, apples are my favorite fruit!
I love this time of year, and Stampin' Up! must love it, too. There are a couple of noteworthy items coming right up. First, we'll be having our seasonal sale, formerly known as the Online Extravaganza, on November 16-18. The deals are great: 10% off cardstock, 15% off ink pads, and 20% off dies! Woohoo! I'll be picking up some supplies during the sale. How about you?
Second, it's a great time to join Stampin' Up! as a hobby or business demonstrator. The starter kit, regularly priced at $99 for $125 in product, is just $75 in the month of November. That's $125 in product for only $75 and your regular sales tax. In addition to the great savings, you also get to fully customize your own starter kit. That means you get to choose your own favorite products to stock your kit. Even if you join just for the great discounts and early product info, it's well worth the investment!
So, with that, I'll sign off for now. Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you again soon. Take care!
