September Host Code (good through September 30): UFZGEWXX

How it works: Place a Stampin' Up! product order for $50-$149.99 (before tax and shipping) using my Stampin' Up! shopping link, enter the code in the host code box on the order, and I'll send you an additional reward! If your product order totals $150 or more, Stampin' Up! will offer you host rewards, and you should not enter my host code. I'll still reward you, though. News and Promotions from Stampin' Up!
Three active catalogs to select great products from!
Choose Stampin' Up! products from three catalogs in the month of September! They are:

Sales period active through 2 May 2022

Sales period active through 30 September 2021
Sales period active through 3 January 2022
Sale-a-bration! - August 3 through September 30, 2021

The second Sale-a-bration of the year is happening now! You may recall that starting this year Stampin' Up! is offering Sale-a-bration a second time. Each Sale-a-bration period runs for two months.
How does it work? Choose a FREE Sale-a-bration product with every $50 or $100 you spend (before tax and shipping). Choose from regular and specialty designer series papers, stamp sets, and even die sets!
One exciting item of note is the Summer Shadows Dies (see photo) that match the Shaded Summer stamp set in the 2021-2022 annual catalog. The stamp set is only $23, so buying a stamp set and getting the dies for FREE is absolutely astounding!
Even better, the Sale-a-bration brochure features the Counting Sheep stamp set, a Level 1 reward, with a coordinating Level 1 Sheep Dies set reward. That means you can have a stamp set AND a matching die set for FREE if you spend $100! Amazing!
I'll be featuring both of these stamp sets and dies in YouTube videos during September. Check out the Sale-a-bration brochure for the full array of FREE items!

Joining Incentive During Sale-a-bration! (Ends September 30)
Join Stampin' Up! as an independent demonstrator during Sale-a-bration, and choose an extra bundle for your custom starter kit! Check my web page for the available bundles, which are from the July-December 2021 mini catalog!
Normally, you pay just $99 to get $125 in beautiful products, PLUS free business supplies. During Sale-a-bration, you get to add a bundle of your choice, valued between $36 and $60.25. That means you get between $161 and $185.25 in product for only $99 (plus your regular sales tax).
Whether you join as a hobbyist who wants to enjoy a 20-25% discount all the time (with no obligation to sell), or you want to build your own business, this is an amazing deal no matter how you look at it!

The Kits Collection

Don't forget to check out the new line of creative products called the Kits Collection by Stampin' Up! These kits launched on June 1, and they take the guess work out of creativity. They are perfect for beginning paper crafters who want to try their hand at card making without investing in craft supplies up-front. Each kit is all-inclusive and includes the pre-designed projects, pre-printed pieces, and even the adhesives you need to complete the projects. That allows you to start crafting right out of the box!
There's a wide variety of kits for all different occasions, and new kits will be added periodically. In fact, check out the brand new kit that debuting on September 8. If you see one you like, don't wait! These are available only while supplies last! There's no back-ordering for these, so once they're posted on the website, they're available - and when they disappear, they're gone.
Visit my Shop/Host Code page to order!
Fussy Cut
Use a pair of Snips or fine-point scissors to cut manually around a stamped image. This is often done when there is no die-cut available for your image, or you simply want to eliminate some part of an image. The hummingbird at right was fussy-cut before being mounted on its card.
Dancing Baseline
Every line of text has a baseline. It is a real or imaginary line upon which the text is grounded. The bottom of each letter generally sits on a baseline, except when letters have descenders that fall below the main body of the letter (x-height); i.e. g, j, p, q, and y.
Dancing baselines are often seen in modern calligraphy, where letters are drawn for artistic interest. (See the "Sorry for your loss" sentiment at right.) Not only are dancing baselines visually interesting, but they are a wonderful friend to people who have trouble getting a stamp straight on a card or other project. The dancing baseline makes perfect stamping rather irrelevant! If you have this issue, consider buying stamps with this feature, and no one will ever be the wiser that you are "straight-challenged."
Paper Pumpkin - Haunts & Harvest
Paper Pumpkin is also a great entry point to paper crafting and card making! The September 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit is a perfect segue into fall. Whether you're thinking about crisp red apples or you're ready to carve some spooky jack-o-lanterns (or both!), the Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin kit is a hands-on crafting experience for all autumn lovers!

Follow Me on Pinterest

Are you often in need of inspiration? If so, check out my personal boards on Pinterest! I am always looking for fresh designs and ideas for my paper crafting projects, so I pin ideas frequently.
Because I am a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! I have a Stampin' Up! Pinterest board with dozens of sections. Each section is dedicated to a stamp set, bundle, designer series paper, technique, or style. I name them by product name and keep them alphabetized for easy browsing. Currently, I have over 3000 pins, most of which feature Stampin' Up! products.
My pinning philosophy is simple: If I love a design, I pin it. It may be the stamp set that interests me, or it may be the color scheme, or it may be the layout. Whatever the case, I can draw inspiration from each pin and then make it my own by altering some aspect of the design. Some of my pins are originals; i.e. projects that I designed myself. Others are ones I pinned from other paper crafters.
My boards (and sections) will remain in place indefinitely. Some products are retired, but that doesn't mean we don't use them any more. In fact, I suspect that it is harder to find samples using retired products. I want us all to have inspiration for a long time to come!
I hope you'll visit my site and click the "follow" button to stay up-to-date with what I'm pinning. If you have a special request, feel free to email me at kbrstamping@gmail.com. I'll see what I can do!
